Supervisory Jobs

Supervisory jobs indicate if the worker can supervise others. 

Supervisory jobs are defined as those occupations with a People code = 3 (Supervising) in the Data-People-Things code, or those with Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Superintendent in the title. The Data-People-Things code is the middle three digits of the DOT code.

Impact: While not a perfect filter to eliminate all supervisory occupations, most supervisory occupations are eliminated from the resulting search list of possible occupations. This is a question asked interactively in SkillTRAN's classic online services.
