S.O.S. - SkillTRAN Online Services - Available NOW !!!
After two months of testing by a core group of experienced users, SkillTRAN has relaunched the four online products that had been well known in the marketplace under the CAPCO/JobQuest® label. Since CAPCO/JobQuest ceased its business operations last summer, there had been a great void in comprehensive, well-integrated transferable skills analyses with highly localized labor market information.
After the close of JobQuest's Chapter 7 bankruptcy in late January 2001, SkillTRAN purchased the hardware assets that could be retrieved from IBM Corporation, a lessor of equipment used by JobQuest. This included the computer server used to deliver JobQuest's online services. Having already possessed a legal copy of the online source code from a 1999 agreement with JobQuest, SkillTRAN set about restoring the online services under the SkillTRAN name. Pre-release testing by former users of the products began in early April 2001.
SkillTRAN is extremely pleased to be able to restore these services. Initial response has been very favorable.
