JobQuest Corporation files Chapter 7 Bankruptcy November 28, 2000 Spokane, WA. From bankruptcy court records dated July 20, 2000, it is noted that JobQuest Corporation filed a petition for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in the Eastern District of Washington. In a Chapter 7 bankruptcy, the court trustee dissolves any corporate assets amongst the creditors. The business does not survive or continue. The JobQuest web site (www.jobquest.com) has ceased to operate. Its former support contractor's web site operates, but without any updated contact information. The computers that enabled on-line services have been shut down. Because corporate assets are "frozen" in a bankruptcy proceeding, the computer(s) used to generate reports are not available for re-deployment until the trustee decides how to properly and fairly dispose of residual assets. JobQuest is a registered trademark of JobQuest Corporation, Tri-Cities, WA. This statement regarding JobQuest Corporation was prepared exclusively by Jeffrey A. Truthan, a former employee of JobQuest and a current JobQuest shareholder. Mr. Truthan is owner of SkillTRAN, a company dedicated to the use of technology in the service of others. SkillTRAN owns the discontinued EZ-DOT product and the current Job Browser Pro product, which is being updated at this time. Mr. Truthan also owns a legal copy of the JobQuest source code and expects to re-engineer the products and restore on-line services. Background about Mr. Truthan may be found at www.skilltran.com/resume_jat.htm. Information about SkillTRAN is available at www.skilltran.com.
