JOB BROWSER Pro is a sophisticated database search engine and report generator. The only situation in which dates are used are for report headers. In this instance, the software program relies upon the PC's operating system date setting. No date calculations are performed. As a result, there are no known conflicts due to Year 2000 aside from whatever other problems the PC's then current operating system may experience.
Windows Version Compatibility
JOB BROWSER Pro, Version 1.4 was written and compiled as a single user product to run under Microsoft Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000, and XP. Version 1.4 will not run under Windows Version 3.1x.
Virus-Free Certification
Job Browser Pro Version 1.1 CD-ROM was run through a virus scanning program (McAfee Virus Scanner 4.0.02 Scan Engine, with Virus Definition file dated 9/8/99). No viruses were detected on the CD-ROM.
Similar testing was performed on Job Browser Pro version 1.2 and the product is certified as virus-free (McAfee Virus Scanner 4.0.70 Scan Engine with Virus Definition file dated 11/15/2000).
Job Browser Pro version 1.3 is certified as virus-free (Norton Anti-Virus - Virus Definitions 12/18/02).
Job Browser Pro - Version 1.4 is certified as virus-free (Norton Anti-Virus - Virus Definitions 9/2004; Grisoft AVG - Virus Definitions 9/22/2004).
Special Note
JOB BROWSER Pro Versions 1.0 and 1.1 were originally developed by the JobQuest Corporation. SkillTRAN legally acquired the product from JobQuest in Spring 1999. Version 1.2 by SkillTRAN was released in December 2000. Version 1.3 was released in December 2002. Version 1.4 was released in September, 2004.
